Transformers: Rescue Bots is an American animated television series based on the popular Transformers multimedia franchise. Unlike previous iterations of the The Transformers, this series targets a pre-school age group and follows the adventures of four young robot characters and the humans that they have bonded with as they perform various search and rescue missions. The series was produced by Hasbro, Atomic Cartoons, Moody Street Kids and Vision Animation and began airing on the Hub Network on December 17th, 2011. The series features the voice talents of Steve Blum, Parvesh Cheena, D.C. Douglas and Imari Williams as the Autobots Heatwave, Blades, Chase and Boulder (respectively) as well as Jeff Bennett, Lacey Chabert, Elan Garfias, Jason Marsden and Shannon McKain as the human characters, Huxley Prescott, Dani Burns, Cody Burns, Kade Burns and Graham Burns. Veteran voice actor Peter Cullen once again reprises his immortal role as Autobot leader Optimus Prime.
