Stephen Yardley was a British television actor born in North Yorkshire, England on March 24th, 1942. His first role in a sci-fi feature was in a bit part in Douglas Livingstone's 1981 adaptation of the John Wyndham novel The Day of the Triffids. He then went on to play Investigator Reeve in one episode of Blake's 7. Following that, he played the role of Sevrin in the "Genesis of the Daleks" storyline in Doctor Who and later returned to play Arak in the "Vengeance on Varos" story-arc.
