- Morning Star Endeavors, Inc. existed only as an hallucination in Sam Winchester's mind, and was put there by Lucifer Morningstar. Lucifer, assuming the image of Sam's brother Dean, took him out on a hunting job, which brought them to the office building of Morning Star Endeavors. Sam observed five men and women in an upper office dressed in business attire. As they entered the ground level warehouse, "Dean" began telling Sam that he was out of control. This was all part of Lucifer's ongoing game to keep Sam questioning what was real and what wasn't. The real Dean entered the warehouse, but Sam could not differentiate between his actual brother and Lucifer. The real Dean coaxed Sam down with logic. Sam began pressing on an open sore on his hand. With each twinge of pain, the hallucination of Lucifer began to flicker. Sam continued to press on the wound until the image of Lucifer disappeared entirely. Afterward, Sam and Dean left the warehouse. [1]
