The Smith & Wesson 3913, also known as the "Ladysmith" is a semi-automatic handgun developed by Smith & Wesson. It fires 9x19mm caliber bullets and has an 8-round magazine capacity. It has a length of 6.81 in (173 mm) with a barrel length of 3.5 in (88.9 mm) and weighs 1.75 lbs. [1]
Constantine[]
In the 2005 feature film Constantine, the character of Angela Dodson possessed a 3913. She used it in a desperate attempt to fight off a horde of demons. This particular weapon must have had some sort of supernatural enchantment placed upon it, for it succeeded in firing twenty-five more bullets beyond capacity. [2]
The Walking Dead[]
The Smith & Wesson 3913 is one of many firearms possessed by the zombie apocalypse survivor group led by Rick Grimes. It was prominently seen in season two of the series. The character of Andrea had the 3913 and Shane Walsh promised to teach her how to use it. Dale Horvath took it away from her however, fearing that Andrea might use it to commit suicide. He later gave it back and Shane showed her how to clean it and then took her out for target practice. Sometime later, the gun switched hands and ended up in the possession of T-Dog. [3]
