Re-Animator: Dawn of the Re-Animator is an American comic book limited series of the horror genre. It is based on the 1985 sci-fi/horror film Re-Animator by Empire Pictures. The movie in turn, was based on the 1922 short story, "Herbert West - Reanimator" by author H. P. Lovecraft. The comic series was published by Malibu Comics under their Adventure Comics imprint, and ran for a total of four issues from March to June, 1992. All four issues were collected in trade paperback format.
