The Punisher is an American comic book limited series of the action genre. It was published by Marvel Comics and originally intended to run as a four-issue limited series in January, 1986, but it was expanded into a five-issue series in May, 1986. The series features Frank Castle as The Punisher and was written by Steven Grant with artwork by Mike Zeck and John Beatty. The series was edited by Carl Potts. All five issues were collected in the Punisher: Circle of Blood trade paperback.
