Night Nurse is an American ongoing comic book series of the medical drama genre. Yeah... not many of those, are there? It was published by Marvel Comics and ran for four issues from November 1972 to May 1973. No big surprise that it got the axe after four issues. Reading about the adventures of three over-worked nurses working on the night shift doesn't exactly make for exciting story-telling. The series was written by Jean Thomas (then-wife of fellow comic scribe Roy Thomas) with artwork by Winslow Mortimer and inks by Frank Giacoia. Coloring was by George Roussos with lettering by John Costanza. Andrea Hunt was the colorist on issue #4, and Charlotte Jetter was the letterer on that same issue. Roy Thomas was the editor of the series.

Night Nurse took place at the fictional Metro General Hospital in New York City, New York and featured a cast of three main characters: Linda Carter, Georgia Jenkins, and Christine Palmer. The adventures of the Night Nurses take them through scenes of murder, mystery and the engulfing frenzy of a city-wide mob war.
