Martin Caidin was a science fiction author, teacher, aeronautics expert and alleged psychi born in New York City, New York on September 14th, 1927. He is best known for writing the 1972 novel Cyborg, which was later adapted for television under the title The Six Million Dollar Man. Over the span of his career, Caidin has authored more than fifty novels.
