Knight Rider 2000 is an American television movie of the action and science fiction genres. It is a spin-off of the classic popular 1982-1986 TV series Knight Rider. The film was directed by Alan J. Levi with a script written by Rob Hedden based on characters and concepts originally developed by the late Glen A. Larson. It was produced by Charles E. Sellier Productions and River Rock Productions for Universal TV and first aired on NBC on May 19th, 1991. The film stars David Hasselhoff and Edward Mulhare reprising their respective roles of Michael Knight and Devon Miles and as well as William Daniels the original voice of K.I.T.T from the TV series. Knight Rider 2000 served as a pilot for an actual brand new Knight Rider series to bring back Knight Rider again the ratings for this Knight Rider pilot were very high but all of the plans sadly fell apart and were forgotten never ever to be seen or heard from again.
