Joar Mahkent is a fictional criminal scientist and super-villain featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He was known by his villain code-name, the Icicle, and was a foe of Alan Scott, the Golden Age Green Lantern. He first appeared in the first story in All-American Comics #90 in October, 1947.
