Biography[]

Janelle Voight lived in Los Angeles, California with her husband Todd. The Voights adopted young John Connor whose birth mother, Sarah Connor, was locked away in a mental institution. Janelle was not particularly nice to John, and easily grew frustrated with him when he rebelled against her.

A robotic T-1000 Terminator from the future came to this time era looking to assassinate John Connor. He went to the Voight's home looking for him, but when John was not present, he killed Jenette, assumed her shape with its liquid metal morphing abilities, and then killed Todd by stabbing him through the mouth with an arm blade.

The T-1000 fielded a telephone call from John while still posing as Janelle and asked him when he was returning home, because she was making beef stew for dinner. This sent off a warning sign in John's mind, who admitted that Janelle was never this nice to him. At the time, John was partnered with a T-800 Terminator, who was programmed to protect him. The T-800 took the phone, imitated John's voice and asked Janelle if there was anything wrong with the dog, as he could hear it barking in the background. The dog's name was Max, but the T-800 deliberately called it "Wolfie", tricking the T-1000 into revealing itself when it said, "Wolfie's just fine. Where are you?" With that, both the T-800 and John Connor knew that his foster parents were dead. [4]
