Eugene Wesley Roddenberry was an American television producer, series creator and writer. He is best known for his work in the science fiction genre, specifically the creation of the Star Trek franchise.

• Was married to actress/producer Majel Barrett from December 29th, 1969 until his death. The two were married two days after the finalization of his divorce from his first wife Eileen Anita Rexroat.
