Ziggy

Ziggy was a human male and one of two husbands of Earth Republic ambassador Olfin Tennety. The other was Kaspar. Ziggy was present when Olfin conspired with a crew of bandits to rob the land coach. During the ensuing conflict, Kaspar was killed, and Ziggy was shot. However, he survived. When the debacle concluded, Ziggy left Olfin and went off with freed prisoner, Rynn Grisu, who dropped him off in the next town. (Defiance: The Serpent's Egg)

Zwimbo

Zwimbo is a powerful poison and one of several such toxins that Stahma Tarr utilizes to do away with any who displease her. She selected a needle filled with zwimbo, which she kept concealed in her bracelet, and used it in an effort to assassinate the Omec, T'evgin. Stahma's lack of knowledge concerning Omec physiology however resulted in a failure in this venture and T'evgin lived. When Datak Tarr admonished her for failing to kill the Omec, she told that she had poisoned him with enough Zwimbo to kill a Bell Beast. (Defiance: History Rhymes)
