David King was a British television actor born in Kent, England on August 23rd, 1930. He is best known for playing the role of Minister of Defence Burdett in the 1961 sci-fi series A for Andromeda and its 1972 sequel The Andromeda Breakthrough. Debuting in "The Murderer", King appeared in two episodes of the original series and five of the six episodes of The Andromeda Breakthrough. David passed away in London on March 4th, 1998.
