The B2 super battle droid is a fictional robot series featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. They were introduced as part of the prequel trilogy and first seen in the 2002 film Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The B2 droids were seen during the Battle of Geonosis.
History[]
The B2 series super battle droids were deployed by the Trade Federation on the planet Geonosis in 19 BBY to fight up against the forces of the Jedi Order and the clones of the Grand Army of the Republic. [1]
A contingent of B2 droids were sent to the moon Rugosa to help turn the tide of a diplomatic issue between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the representatives of Toydaria. Jedi Master Yoda led a squad of clone troopers against the CSI forces, with Yoda dispatching the majority of the battle droids during the fight. [2]
