Aireo is a fictional genetically engineered humanoid and a recurring character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the Inhumans line of comic titles and first appeared as an unnamed background character in Fantastic Four, Volume 1 #47 in February, 1966.

Biography[]

Aireo was a member of the genetically engineered offshoot of humanity known as the Inhumans. He originally resided at the Great Refuge in the Andes Mountains in South America. Aireo was present the day that Maximus the Mad took control of the throne from his brother Black Bolt and released all of the Alpha Primitives throughout the city. [1]

Abilities[]

  • Alien physiology: As a genetically enhanced being, Aireo's natural physiology as an Inhuman grants him physical traits that are beyond that of a normal human being.
  • Accelerated healing: Aireo's genetically enhanced biology and metabolism enables him to heal from injuries more quickly than the average human being.
  • Superhuman durability: Aireo's body is heartier and more dense than the average human, allowing him to sustain repeated blows with minimal injury.
  • Superhuman stamina: Aireo's genetically engineered biology allows him to operate on a physical level for extended periods of time without tiring.
  • Superhuman strength: Aireo is physically stronger than the average human being of equal age, size and weight.
  • Aerokinesis: Aireo can summon and control wind, and is able to generate powerful gusts for offensive purposes, and can also use win to enable him to fly.
  • Flight: Aireo can fly as a sub-application of Aerokinesis. This is accomplished by pulling together a strong wind trail that he rides along.
