"Dick's First Birthday" is the third episode of season one of the sci-fi/comedy series 3rd Rock from the Sun. It was directed by Robert Berlinger and written by Andy Cowan. It first aired on NBC on January 23rd, 1996. In this episode, the Solomon family discover the concept of birthdays, so Dick decides that he must quantify his age in order to fit in with the rest of human culture.
